The Physical Aspects Of A Golf Training Aid
Be Fit Like Tiger Woods

When we talk about a golf training aid, our thoughts usually turn to some kind of device like he weighted golf club, a hinged
driver or a putting device that grooves your putting stroke.
But there are other ways to train your self to become a better golfer and they don't necessarily use these kinds of devices.
Many people forget the aspect of golf that relates to golf fitness. Being able to swing your golf club with the same power over
all eighteen holes will no doubt win you quite a few tournaments. No matter how often you play golf, you still won't develop the endurance
needed to swing with full power all day long. You need some form of exercise that builds a well of endurance that you can draw from. And
that's where a golf fitness program comes in as an excellent golf training aid.
There are a large number of very simple ways to train that will develop your body in the exact way needed to improve your golf
game.
Training with a medicine ball or some sort of weight that you can hold as you rotate your body will build the exact type of
muscles needed in the golf swing. You develop not only power but the endurance to perform that movement over and over again on the golf
course.

Yoga is a marvelous form of exercise that helps you to stretch and loosen the muscles you use every day on
the golf course. Yoga doesn't take a lot of time or a lot of expensive equipment to gain a great deal of benefit from the discipline. You
don't have to get too advanced or deep into Yoga to get the benefit either. Simply concentrate on those exercises that mimic the golf swing or
any of the movement you make on the golf course.

It is good to note that the discipline of Yoga pertains to both physical and mental exercise as well. Anything that can keep you
cooler and calmer on the golf course or allow you to concentrate on the exact matter at hand [sinking a 12 foot birdie] is another type of golf
training aid that can only add your enjoyment of the game.
